As parents we see our children grow and transform, seemingly overnight. One minute they’re tiny, and the next, walking, talking and all grown up, it seems. As a mother (not only as a photographer!) I see photographs as a way document how our family changes. But, these images are also taken to celebrate milestones – these in particular were taken to celebrate my son’s 6th birthday, we always try to grab a few extra when we can.
Any day can be a reason to celebrate or remember. Because, in a blink of an eye, they’ve grown bigger than they were the day before.
