Phew – Has HM Photography been busy! As the studio wraps up our last month open in Germany, in preparation for our BIG MOVE, I’ve been so honored to photograph some amazing ‘new’ people! I will surely miss everyone I have had the honor of photographing, in my home studio for the past 4 years.
I am so excited to be moving to the Northwest Louisiana area. I will be setting up my first commercial studio in Shreveport, and am SO EXCITED to see where my art takes me. I will be serving the Tri-State area, including Shreveport, Barksdale AFB, Dallas TX and Magnolia AR and surrounding areas! How exciting right?!

This sweet tiny girl, who melted my heart. 🙂 Wide awake when she arrived, and such a hungry little bird. Once she got her belly full, she was a sleeping angel! Baby girl gave her parents a surprise when she arrived several weeks early, and just two days before Christmas. What an amazing gift, huh?

Scheduling Your Newborn Photography Session
Heather recommend reserving your newborn photography session as far in advance as possible, in order to ensure availability around your due date. Newborn photography is best captured around 5-10 days, when your baby is sleeping deeply and curling up naturally into those sweet newborn poses. Newborn photography sessions are offered in her studio, which is filled with a variety of accessories and props. Her newborn photography sessions are never rushed, lasting around 2-3 hours, and there’s always plenty of time for feedings, diaper changes, and sweet cuddles.
