journal blog

Here, you’ll find more than just photography; this is where stories come to life. Whether it’s behind-the-scenes glimpses, expert tips, client spotlights, or heartfelt reflections, this space is dedicated to celebrating beauty, connection, & the fleeting moments that deserve to be preserved.

As a passionate photographer, I believe every image holds a story - one filled with emotion, artistry, & meaning. Through this journal, I hope to inspire, educate, & share the magic that happens both in front of & behind my lens.

So grab a cozy spot, as I invite you to explore, be inspired, & see the world through my eyes.

I asked her if I could do a mini interview with her, & here is what she said:

NameChrissi Coile
Q: What do you do? What is your business?I’m a spokesperson for several businesses across the Arklatex. I also do freelance voice over work and serve as Master of Ceremonies for different events.
Q: Where can people find you/your work? (i.e. website, fb page, etc)My website is www.chrissicoile.com

Why was having professional portraits created, important to you?I had professional photos taken to help establish my brand. I wanted people to be able to come to my website and see professional pictures the moment they clicked on my site. I also emcee/host dozens of events each year, the event organizer usually needs a headshot to put in the program or on the big screen,
Also, in my line of business sometimes potential clients want to see personality pictures, Heather did an amazing job capturing that in the pictures she took.
Q: How did you get started in your field of work? I worked in TV news for 10 years. I got out of the business to be able to spend more time with my family. Shortly after getting out of TV news I was approached by a few local businesses who were looking for someone to be the face of their business and do TV commercials. I jumped at the opportunity to be able to have the best of both worlds… spending more time with my family while adding in some TV appearances here and there!
Q: What is your key to success? How do YOU define success? To me success is happiness. It’s being able to do what you love every day. It isn’t measured through how much money you make, but how many lives you’re able to impact in a positive way.
Q: What do you find is the most challenging about your work?Scripts can change on a moments notice, so you have to be fluid and flexible and be able to roll with the punches!
Q: Tell us about the people you have met with your career? While working in TV, I had the opportunity to meet many fascinating people from celebrities to people in our own community who have done amazing things!
But one of the people who touched my life the most was a little boy named Odie he was diagnosed with cancer and doctors only gave him a short time to live. I met him while reporting from St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For an entire year I watched him battle the awful disease and live his life to the fullest, knowing his time on earth was limited. His actions taught me so many life lessons.
Q: What advice would you give to other business professionals?Be sure you sit back and listen. You don’t learn anything while you’re talking, Always stay real and true… it’s the recipe to success.
Be the person who shows up early and goes home late, you may not think anyone notices but they do. Hard work does pay off.
Q: Where do you want to be in 1, 5, 10 years?1 year from now I see myself continuing to be a supportive mother and wife. My children’s extra curricular activities take up a lot of my free time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

5 years from now I see myself helping local businesses market themselves and also continuing to support my children & their activities.

10 years from now I see myself as an entrepreneur in this area helping companies promote themselves and become the best they can be.
