Oh sweet and tiny Caleb. Wide eyed and curious from the start of our session, and ready to take in the world. It’s not often newborns are captured with open eyes, staring directly into your soul, but darling Caleb didn’t want to miss a thing. After a full belly and my baby whispering skills, he was off to dreamland, and curled up like a champ.
I have now added fusion video to my birth announcement slideshows for newborns, and this proud mama got to see it first hand at her ordering session. I must say, I am quite honored to hand mom a tissue during the video, to wipe the tears of happiness from her eyes. 🙂 I loved capturing her maternity portraits, and now hope you can enjoy this family heirloom video for generations to come!

Scheduling Your Newborn Photography Session
Heather recommend reserving your newborn photography session as far in advance as possible, in order to ensure availability around your due date. Newborn photography is best captured around 5-10 days, when your baby is sleeping deeply and curling up naturally into those sweet newborn poses. Newborn photography sessions are offered in her home studio, which is filled with a variety of accessories and props. Her newborn photography sessions are never rushed, lasting around 2-3 hours, and there’s always plenty of time for feedings, diaper changes, and sweet cuddles.
