I can’t believe HM Photography & Boutique is finally moving back to Texas!

For almost thirteen years, across three locations (Texas, Germany, & Louisiana), I’ve managed to keep my small business, in business. That’s a challenging feat considering 18% of small businesses fail in the 1st year & 65% by year ten. Add that to starting a client list over, & over, & over again – & well, let’s just say its taken some grit, what what an adventure it has been.

My husband recently retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service, & we have been looking for our chance to move back closer to some family.

Well, that bittersweet opportunity has finally arrived – but a bit sooner than we had expected. Its time we can finally put down roots for our children, my business, & our family – after a lifetime of military moves (this is move #32 for me)….

That’s right, we are moving to the northwest Dallas Fort Worth Texas area this spring. (Just west of Flower Mound/Roanoke area. We are all so excited for this next venture – a place to call our forever home.

I am finishing up at my current studio space & will close its doors at the end of March 2023. I plan to start again in north DFW Texas, this summer, once we get settled into our new home & I get all my licenses up to date. If anyone knows of a commercial office, studio space, or land for sale near there, please let me know! (Oh, and if you have friends or family out near there, please tell them about me by share my links with them!)

I can’t thank my valued clients & friends enough for all the love & support over these past 8 years! You will probably catch me back in town 2-3x a year to visit friends (I might even open up a few session slots when I’m in town – or DFW isn’t that far of a drive, wink wink!) Until we meet again – cheers!

Sessions are now booking through the end of the year & are typically booked up 4-8 weeks in advance. Maternity sessions take place between 28-32 weeks. Newborn sessions take place between 7-10 days from birth. Please reach out as soon as possible, as not to miss out on limited availability, with plenty of time for planning.
