What can I say…baby photography is amazing! Those little personalities, cute little setups, and catching them in a portrait before they get any bigger…what an amazing job, right?

Then add in learning from the best newborn photographer in the world, Amy McDaniel of Dewdrops Photography, and it was the most energizing experience I’ve had as a baby photographer. She was so patient and kind, and shared her years of experience with us so freely.

Here are a couple behind-the-scenes shots from her workshop in her Auburn, Alabama studio. Working her magic with the camera, and with her subjects!
