At HM Photography & Boutique, Heather is most know for her signature sessions, a contemporary ‘magazine-inspired’ style of portraits, using her standard 'full' editing techniques.
She also offers additional styles to fit client photography goals, such as those looking for something a little less edited (documentary) or more a little more creative (fine art).
STANDARD 'FULL' EDIT FOR SIGNATURE SESSIONS
Available for all genres (maternity, family, business, etc.) in studio or non-studio/outdoors.
Final images have basic editing plus skin toning & smoothing, lint removal, background adjustments, boo-boo fixing & digital body contouring (by request).
These sessions, are photographed with a focus of making you look & feel your best when looking at your portraits, taking your focus off the imperfect. Everyone deserves to feel confident & beautiful.
We also offer standard 'full' editing for commercial services such as headshots & product shots.
BASIC 'CLEAN' EDIT for DOCUMENTARY/LIFESTYLE/EVENT SESSIONS
Available for all genres (baby, family, or events, etc.) non-studio or outdoors.
Final images have basic edits only. They are not retouched (aka there is no skin smoothing, boo-boo fixing, body contouring, etc). They are edited only to adjust for exposure, highlights, & tone, otherwise known as a 'clean edit.' With the focus of 'connection over perfection', where shots are candid, & final images have minimal editing to keep the authenticity of the moment.
These shoots are for a 'lifestyle or journalistic style', something a little less formal, to professionally capture everyday moments. Just raw, real life - documentary style. We just let our time unfold together, naturally.
FINE ART 'CREATIVE' EDIT for FINE ART SESSIONS
Available to all genres (maternity, baby, child, etc.) by specific request.
Final images are meticulous & expertly retouched, taking hours to create something truly unique & whimsical. They include basic & standard retouching, as well as advanced digital editing techniques.
These sessions are pre-planned & stylized to have an extra dose of magic to create a set of curated images (think quality over quantity), of show stopping art pieces in a nursery, your home gallery, or on the walls of your office space.
